I’ve just been scheduled for the No Fluff, Just Stuff show: The Greater Atlanta Software Symposium. The theme this year is “Local Venue, World Class Event”, which really reflects my experience of No Fluff in Minnesota. NFJS uniquely combines world-class speakers, the leading regional talent, and a professional-yet-direct style; it tackles real problems in a no-nonsense kind of way. That impressed me so much that getting on the tour has been an explicit goal of mine for a few years now, and I’m finally getting my shot. It will all start with Atlanta!
The two sessions I’ll be giving are JConch and java.util.concurrent: The JVM Concurrency Toolset and Architecting Java Code for Concurrent Execution.
