(This is livebloggingish. More just stream of consciousness while the web catches up to my svn update.)
I’m currently at the F1 Challenge, working hard to build an awesome website that makes live easier for the MN chapter of Little Brothers — Friends of the Elderly. I’m working with the Ruby.MN team, and we’re really going to town. The team is full of people who know what they’re doing, who work well with teams, and who are really fired up to get stuff done. It’s awesome.
Alicia and Nate are cranking away on the design side of things, and they’re really getting a lot accomplished. Cuang Tran and I worked out how we’re going to work with the various forms. Lars has our merchant account well in hand, and Sam and Justin are working on the CMS side of things. We should be having a real website all together, and then Andy can release his requirements gathering and Selenium scripts on our poor, unsuspecting test environment.
All in all, we rock. As for the other teams….it’s just sad we’re going to have to pound them so hard. But at least the race for second should be good.
(BTW, check out Jeremy Pavleck’s webcasting of the event.)
