I went to Kure Beach several years back. The quiet was so nice there...I grew up in a touristy area in Florida, so most touristy-type getaways just leave me cold. I found Kure Beach to be a very nice break from the typical gaudy-gift-shop-and-rundown-hotel cluttered beach fare. Nice write-up!
