I just checked the stats, and Germany is the second-most-common country for reading this blog.
As some of you may know, I lived and worked in Cologne for a while and I’ve been back to Germany quite a few times, and so it warms my heart to see that I’ve got fans there.
My german language skills, unfortunately, have rotted into nothingness. I can still read it pretty well, and I can make out most speech (except for Bavarians and Austrians), but any ability to write or speak it is gone. It’s really sad.
