Less than 2 hours before judging. We’re just tweaking the site. All in all, it looks pretty good, and it will make a huge difference in their business processes — the amount of information caching will really save their ass. We’re using Comatose to provide some CMS features, which has gone pretty well. We really pushed the boundaries of what it was intended to do, but that’s kinda the nature of Ruby and Rails, particularly Ruby and Rails and 0.8-version plug-ins.
There’s lots of news coverage. 4, 5, and 9 have all been here. Pretty cool.
I’m totally brain-fried. I upgraded from a dark roast caffeine IV to shotgunning Red Bull — rumor has it that the Challenge went through over 6 of those tubs of Red Bull, and that’s just sick. I want to go home…staying around for the judging doesn’t seem worth it, except that leaving now seems like it’d be wussing out. And, as Sam puts it: THIS IS NO PLACE FOR THE WEAK!! (He’s also got a nice pick of the team hard at work with his liveblogging.)
They gave out some sweet swag earlier — Adobe CS3 liscenses, an iPod Touch, and cold hard cash. Guess it’s a nice prize for those who stuck it through to about 8.
I just realized that I have now been here for over 25 hours. Suddenly, I’m really exhausted….
This blog post is done.

I’m tellin ya man, it surely killed me – I went home that night, fell asleep, and then woke up sick as hell. And I’m still sick, only I managed to make it to the office this time. Sigh.
We were wondering where you went off to, Jeremy. The Ruby.MN coverage in Flickr dropped substantially after you left.
