DaVinci Code: The Movie

Well, it was an honest effort, but a new screenwriter, Tom Hanks, and Ron Howard couldn’t save The DaVinci Code. It’s a reasonably well-done movie, worth renting and seeing on a nice home theater system. I wouldn’t say it’s worth the $7.50 plus $10 popcorn and soda to see it in the theater, though.

The movie is actually better than the book, and that is truly the most damning statement that someone can say about a book.
