Although hardly "evangelical", I entered seminary with a strong faith in a benevolent God that I attached to Christianity. At the end of last semester, however, that all collapsed, and I am left as a kind of weak atheist. The <i>post mortem</i> of my faith is a complicated narrative: there is no simple cause of death.
